A prospect with undeniable potential…

Holy Boss broke his maiden on debut at 2 by 10 1/4 lengths going six furlong on dirt in 2014 at Churchill Downs. At 3, his tear included three straight black-type stakes wins first in the Bachelor Stakes, then the Chick Lang Stakes, culminating in his graded win in the Amsterdam Stakes (G2) at Saratoga. He ran a 113 Equibase Speed Figure in The Kings Bishop, a 111 in the Breeders’ Cup Sprint and 115 in the Vanderbilt.

“Holy Boss is one of those unique stallion prospects that has precocity, speed, soundness, depth of family, and the physicality to match. Adding him to the roster to be available to Mid-Atlantic breeders was an easy choice. Plus, I think he may be the best-looking horse I’ve ever seen.” – Louis Merryman

Holy Boss’s dam, Holy Grace is a half to three graded stakes winners: Rookie Sensation, Daiwa Carson and Mark One. As a producer, the mare is also the dam of Millionaire Holy Helena who became the 36th filly to win the Queen’s Plate and back to back graded wins this year in The Very One (G3) and The Sheepshead Bay (G2). Holy Boss is also from the immediate sire family of A.P. Indy, Summer Squall, Raja Baba, Tonalist etc.
